- Amy this shot completely captures why you are so good at this!
The Ringo Boys - Portland Children’s Photography
Meet Tanner & Brady - I first photographed them with their mom & dad over the holidays on a very cold, cold day. Nice and warm in the studio today, and they were ready for photos! I knew these guys would be great for some closeups I wanted to do because of their beautiful eyes and lashes and dark hair, but I didn’t know they would be THIS good! I decided to create a collection for them of “old school” black and whites, which is becoming one of my favorite ways to display photos. I love the look of it - it somehow speaks to the classic and modern styles that I like. I hope you like it too!
Check out the creativity of their mom, too. She’s Kristen Ringo of Ringo Baby. Good, good stuff!
peter the cat - portland pet photography
This is Peter. Peter was a bit distressed when he came into the studio. Can you blame him? Leaving his house usually means he’s going to the vet. Little did he know that he was coming into the city (held bravely by his mom, Kris with no cat-carrier) for his first professional photo session.
Coming into a new place can be stressful on an animal. Any animal! But what Kris and I thought was stress, and curiosity, turned into a deep need on Peter’s part to, well, get rid of a few things he was carrying with him before he settled down into his photo shoot.
(Thank goodness he decided that some paper garbage was a good place to do his business. Easy cleanup.)
I’ve never seen a cat pee for that long in my life. I think he may have broken a few records.
AFTER Peter had relieved himself of EVERYTHING he had, he settled in quite nicely! He posed for me. And he posed for me. And he posed for me. And then he got up and turned around and laid back down and posed for me. This cat is a natural! Way to go, Peter.
The Deboy Boys
Happily, this is the second time I’ve taken photos of these little guys. Obviously they have looks, but they’re also bursting with BIG personalities, too!
Ladykillers!!!
- Oh my gosh - I love them already! Can't wait to see you tomorrow! Thank you!
objects of my affection - portland children’s photography
Looking for a unique way to display your portraits? Fine Art Gallery Wraps are the way to go - I just love them! When I get two seconds to sit down I’m going to plaster my studio with them!
These little beauties are my latest addition to the canvas gallery collection, and I call them “Objects of My Affection.” Can you see why? They’re so loveable and modern, and what I love most about them is that they’re great stand-alone pieces of art for your wall but they’ll also work so well as a collection. Pair these puppies with some designs from my Inspire Guide at the studio and your walls will be the object of every one of your guests’ affection (and yours) every time you pass them by.
great jeans, UNBELIEVABLE GENES! - portland family portraits
This shoot is the reason I wanted to be a photographer. To be in the company of hilarious, easygoing, camera lovers who completely enjoy their shoot and in turn leave me feeling like the best photographer on the PLANET! This is Erica and her gorgeous mom and sister, who I cannot WAIT to hang out with at Erica’s wedding this Fall (if I can stand to take my camera off of them for two seconds at the wedding.) These girls are even cooler than they are gorgeous, if you can believe it. Scroll down and try to keep your jaw intact!
The Brides Have Spoken - Portland Wedding Photography
Thank you to all my beautiful 2009 brides who have taken the time to write such wonderful reviews of our wedding photography services. Thanks to you, we’ve been given the highest honor by WeddingWire, a Martha Stewart Weddings partner. So exciting!
