Model families needed {portland holiday family portraits}

AVP is in need of two families to pose for my holiday marketing pieces this year. Families must be new clients to AVP, not return clients. Both parents and at least one child must be involved. Your session will be free, and I’ll throw in one free 4×6. No additional purchase is required. Session must take place on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening at 6pm. Snowflake sweaters are not required, but winter apparel is a must. Shoot will take place outdoors in the Portland area.

Leah & John’s Engagement Shoot {portland wedding photography}

Crawford and I had the amazing experience of shooting Leah & John’s engagement shoot this weekend. And after several hours with this couple, I know that this night is the first of many laughter-filled nights with these two! Meeting for a cocktail (or two) beforehand got the night off on the right foot. The only problem at the shoot is that none of us could quit laughing long enough to get a serious shot of the two of them. Wait til you see these photos … they’re cracking up in just about every single one! They will be up soon…. and in the meantime, you can check out a few of the ‘behind the scenes’ photos of us all having fun. Whoever suggested that we go see the Journey cover band afterward is my new hero. I can’t remember if it was John or Leah, I just know it was the beginning of a late, goofy night. Prestidigitation! (Don’t ask. I don’t even know.) Jiffy Pop!
